Providence Catholic Children's Academy, formerly Providence
Early Education Center was founded in
1992 to serve the religious and educational needs of
young children between the ages of 3 and 5 who are
members of the Catholic community in New Lenox and
surrounding areas.
A strong sense of community, based and
rooted in Christian values, unites children, families
and the faculty. PCCA fosters
a positive self-image
in each child and plans experiences which aid in the
development of the “whole child” so that children will
enjoy a happy childhood, reach their full human
potential, and become a fully functioning Christian
adult.
The school's name officially changed to Providence
Catholic Children's Academy on July 1, 2008. The
reason
for this change is that it better establishes the
facility as a Catholic grammar school as opposed to a
childcare center. A new logo was also designed, which
represents the school and signifies their values.
The logo includes images of children around a cross,
along with the three words; love, learn and grow.
In addition, a new mission
statement was written to better focus their efforts
on behalf of their students. |

"I
look forward to each day that I pick my daughter up from
school. She always
has so much to tell me about what she learned and has
projects that she created for our family." |
