Dominic
Steinhauser
On
May 28, 2008, Bill and Deanna (Rossi) Steinhauser, local
residents of Tinley Park, welcomed their second child, a
beautiful baby boy named Dominic. Immediately complications
with Dominic were apparent, and he was rushed to the
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Christ Medical Center. In
their first email to family & friends after the birth, both
excitement and fear of the unknown was plaguing this young
family.
As you can imagine this has been
tremendously difficult for a young-loving family,
especially the unforeseen medical costs that will
continue as Dominic gets older. This is why the
Steinhauser and Rossi families and friends of Bill and
Deanna need your help. On November 2, 2008, we will
hold the first annual "Do It for Dominic" fundraiser and
benefit at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park,
Illinois from 3-8 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults 18 and
over, $5 for children 6-17, children under 6 are free.
A delicious buffet, open bar (Beer, Wine, Pop), DJ, and
fun activities for adults and children are all part of
the ticket price. Sponsorships, a silent auction, and
grand raffle will also be available. All donations will
benefit the Do It For Dominic Foundation. To purchase
tickets online, please go to the Donations/Tickets link
above or you may call Dan Rossi at (815) 355-7003 for
more information on how to purchase tickets or make a
donation.
With your donation and/or attendance, you
can help Bill, Deanna, big sister Kylie, and most of all
Dominic as they begin their journey into a life
different from anything they had ever imagined. Please
join us for an afternoon of food and fun as we Do It for
Dominic!

For Pete's Sake
Pete Bormet married his high school
sweetheart Barb Techman; both were
graduates of the class of 1982. Pete lost his courageous
battle to cancer this past August after a short illness.
The Pete Bormet Benefit was established on behalf of the
Bormet family. Pete's friends and extended family have
combined their efforts to help raise money to meet the
mounting costs of treatment, loss in wages and travel
expenses.
Please join us in supporting the Bormet
Family as they face the challenge of a lifetime. We are
holding a benefit Sunday, October 26th 2008 at 115 Bourbon
Street, 3359 W. 115th Street, Merrionette Park, IL.
In order for the benefit to be a success, we are seeking
monetary donations, and donations for a silent auction.
Contact Peggy or go to
the website for advance ticket sales.
