GOOD LUCK KAITLYN DOMICO AND BRITTANY FLANAGAN AT TENNIS STATE FINALS! 

Update as of 10/19/07:  Kaitlyn Domico and Brittany Flanagan qualified for the second day of state competition.  They defeated Rockford, Geneva, and Ottawa yesterday.  Go Celtics!  

Kaitlyn Domico and partner Brittany Flanagan defeated Bolingbrook H.S. on Friday, October 12, 6-0, 6-0, and defeated JCA 2nd doubles 6-2, 6-1 to qualify for the state tennis tournament next week.  Domico and Flanagan defeated Lockport 2nd doubles on Saturday, October 13 to win first place in Sectionals with a 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 victory over Lockport's first doubles. 

Previously Kaitlyn and Brittany came in 1st place - Stagg Invitational, 1st place - JCA Invitational, and 2nd place East Catholic Conference Tournament prior to finishing 1st place in the JT Sectionals.  Their season record is 27 wins, 4 losses.   Kaitlyn Domico emerged as a doubles state qualifier for the third straight year, Brittany Flanagan first time qualifier.  The girls are co-captains of the Providence Catholic Varsity Tennis team.  The Girls Tennis Coach is Sue Hurley, a Class of 2000 Providence graduate and Homer School Special Education teacher.
