boys track
Welcome
to the Providence Catholic Boys' Track page.
The
Celtic track team is coming off their best season in the last 25
years if not in history. There were key loses due to graduation
including Brandon Phillips who is running at Grand Valley State
and Dan Murphy who is running at Illinois state.
The
Celtics will be led by seniors and State qualifiers Mark
Coglianese, Sean Lindbloom and Kevin Maloney. They will also
look to Frank Murray who is coming off a basketball injury.
Sean
has committed to Norte Dame where he will run next year. Kevin
will be playing football and track at Marian college in
Indianapolis. Mark is leaning toward running at Eastern Illinois
but has not yet committed.
Come
out and support your Celtics as they defend their back to back
Chicago Catholic League Championships.
Other Celtics to watch include junior Patrick ward, who is being
offered football scholarships by just about every Division 1
program, Joey Michaels and Greg Metelak. Sophmores will be led
by Carrol Evans, Tim Foley, David Honsen, Ian Land, and Krish
Ramaduri. Big things are expected from freshman sprinters Joey
Quinlan, Malik Snapp and Blake Prunsky.
