The purpose of the PCHS Math Team is to promote scholarship in, and enjoyment and understanding of, mathematics among high school students.

PRACTICE

Practice will be held on the following Wednesdays after school from 2:50—4:00

9/6, 9/13, 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/25,11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/29,12/6, 12/13,

1/17, 1/24, 1/31,2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/283/7, and 3/14

The first practice (9/6) will meet in room 202.

The remaining practices will meet in either 202 and/or 205.

Mandatory service for all math team members:

Open House Sunday 11/19/06,

Math Bowl set up Wednesday 4/18/07 &

PCHS Jr. High Math Bowl Saturday 4/21/07

Awards and pizza party in room 202 Wednesday 5/2/07

Additional practice will be scheduled for all students qualifying for state mathematics competition.
