Costa Rica
2008 is “Pura Vida”
During Spring break, eight Providence Catholic juniors and their
Spanish teacher, Michael Burke, went to Costa Rica for seven
days. During the trip, the group had many opportunities to
practice their Spanish, learn about Hispanic culture, try many
new food dishes, celebrate “La Semana Santa” y “El Domingo de
Pascua” and enjoy all that this beautiful Central American
country has to offer. The juniors are
Libby White, Ali Trojan, Maria Shell, Megan Slattery, Kristi
Gabriel, Alyssa Tisoncik, Caitlin Myron and Nicolette Marini.
