Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical, Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. This ministry was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent place to live in dignity and safety.
During the school year, PCHS partners with the local Will County affiliate to fulfill the four major functions of our campus chapter: building, fundraising, advocating, and educating.
Membership in this group might open the door to travel. Over the summer and occasionally during the school year, PCHS students travel to build and refurbish homes near and far, giving us an opportunity to make a difference.
Being a part of Habitat for Humanity is fun, fulfilling, and a great way to make new friends! Join us, and be a part of the planning and building of homes for families in the community.

Recycle your Empty Inkjet and Laser Cartridges, and Used Cell Phones
Providence Catholic High School is partnering with Recycle Rewards to provide professional and safe disposal of used printer cartridges and cell phones from within our surrounding communities. Each qualifying used print cartridge and cell phone we collect will turn into funds supporting the PCHS Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter.
Why Recycle? For each used printer cartridge and cell phone we collect, our group will earn money. It’s simple and good for the environment, too, since most of the used products can be refurbished and reused.

You Can Help! When your business donates empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges and cell phones, our Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter earns funds that we donate to our local affiliate or use toward our annual summer build trip. The best part of this program is that there’s no cost to support us through this program.
We would greatly appreciate your help and support!
Please save your empty inkjet cartridges, laser cartridges and cell phones! You can drop them off at PCHS or the recycling program can send you free shipping boxes affixed with prepaid UPS labels. You just need to save the used printer cartridges and cell phones instead of throwing them away, pack them in the provided boxes, and leave them at a UPS drop-off location or hand them to your UPS driver when they come to your facility.
To get started helping us, simply register online by

What is a ReStore?
A ReStore is a retail facility that sells overstocked, discontinued, and new or used building materials and home furnishings donated by manufacturers, businesses, contractors and individuals. These materials are then incorporated in the construction of Habitat homes or are sold to the general public at a fraction of the retail price.
What happens to ReStore profits?
The ReStore will be an ongoing source of income for our Will County affiliate. Proceeds are used to support local Habitat for Humanity building efforts and construction projects.
How will the ReStore benefit my community?
Because the ReStore offers new and used home improvement products to the public, it is a great low-cost resource for contractors, landlords and do-it-yourselfers. The ReStore also has a positive environmental impact, since the used materials sold by the ReStore will be diverted from our local landfill.
