Placement Exam

Each eighth grader interested in attending PCHS is required to take our Incoming Freshman Placement Exam.

New! Complete the Student Information Form in advance and bring it with you to the test.

This 2-page form can be opened from our website. Simply type in your information in each field and then print the form. Don't forget to bring both pages (stapled) with you the morning of the test!

Other information you need to know:

• Plan to arrive between 7:30-7:45 AM.
  
• No pre-registration is required.
  
• Students are asked to bring two #2 pencils.
  
• No calculators are allowed.
  
• Test Fee: $25 paid on the day of the exam (cash or check made payable to Providence Catholic).
  
• Students will be dismissed at approximately 11:30 AM.
• Students will receive packet of materials regarding financial aid and PCHS scholarships

Test Preparation
Providence Catholic administers the HSPT Entrance Exam. In order to prepare for the test, you may wish to purchase an HSPT study guide. You can also find sample questions at the following websites:
