Transportation

Busing is available for the following areas at the listed rates:

• $825 - East side of Joliet, New Lenox
• $850 - West side of Joliet, Rockdale, Crest Hill
• $875 - Manhattan, Frankfort, Mokena, Homer Township areas, and Lockport
• $925 - Elwood, Orland Park, Matteson, Tinley Park, Lemont, Channahon, Shorewood, Green Garden Township, Oak Forest, Palos and Plainfield areas
• $975 - Woodridge & Bolingbrook areas
  

Busing Contract
Contracts are due back to the Transportation Department no later than June 15th prior to the school year. A late fee will be charged for all contracts received after June 15. Download the bus contract for 11-12 school year.

Activity Bus
Any Providence student is eligible to ride the activity bus after school, even if the students is not a regular bus rider. Students MUST have their Providence ID.

Cost is $4.00 per ride and must be paid in cash to the bus driver. If the student is a daily bus rider, there is no additional fee to ride the activity bus.

Activity Buses leave Providence at 6:30 PM from the parking lot behind the cafeteria.

Late Starts
On days when there is a late start (Schedule B day; see school calendar for dates), buses will run 30 minutes later than normal. For example, if your normal pick-up time is 6:45 AM, then on a late start day the pick up time will be 7:15 AM.
