Boys Golf

Golf Team places 9th at State

On October 14, the team headed to State in Bloomington where they placed 9th. In individual competition, Ryan Utter tied for 4th place with a score of 152 (2-days 36-holes).

Varsity Team Heading to State!

Congratulations to the PCHS Varsity Boys' Golf Team who won sectionals Monday October 10 at Inwood in Joliet! The varsity team tied for first place and is headed to State this weekend in Bloomington.

The team includes Telly Korbakes, Casey Labuda, Ryan Utter, Nick Anderson, Mickey Brick and Will McCabe. Telly Korbakes shot a 71 and was the medalist for the event coming in 1st place. Casey Labuda and Ryan Utter each shot a 77, and Nick Anderson shot an 83.

1st Place at Regional Competition

Congratulations to the PCHS Varsity Boys' Golf Team who took 1st Place at Regionals on October 4 at Heritage Bluffs Golf Course in Channahon. The team will advance to Sectionals at Inwood Golf Course on Monday, October 10. The team includes Telly Korbakes, Casey Labuda, Ryan Utter, Nick Anderson, Mickey Brick and Will McCabe. Telly Korbakes shot a 73 and was the medalist for the event coming in 1st place.

Congratulations to sophomore Brady Labuda '14 of Lemont who got a hole in one. The ace occurred on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Cog Hill Country Club in Lemont on the 4th hole of Course #3 with a nine iron. Brady was playing in a Cog Hill Junior Tournament in the 13-15 Age Division. He is a member of the PCHS golf team.  more
