Values and Philosophy
1. Place academics first.
We are students, first and foremost.
2. Focus on gradual improvement. We peak at the right time.
3. Trust moderation.
We don’t over-train. We don’t over-race. We come to the starting line confident and healthy.
4. Pay attention to all individuals on roster.
We flourish through attention. Our training is a collaboration.
5. Dwell on the race plan.
We go to the starting line with clear personal goals.
6. Go after peak performance.
We get the most out of ourselves on race day. We maximize on our talent.
7. Simplify to the basics.
We don’t need fancy facilities. We get it done with a pair of running shoes, a trail, a park, and a positive attitude.
8. Believe in teammates.
What really lasts in our sport, are the friendships we make and the experiences we share as teammates.
9. Honor the Sport.
We honor the sport by playing it the way it should be played. We do the hard work. We take no short cuts. We attend to details. We pay our dues. We let our races speak for us.
10. Run with passion.
We put our heart and soul into our running. What other way is there?
