Congratulations to the Girls Track Team who won the Lemont Invitational Friday night. The girls performed very well achieving many 1^st and 2^nd places along with personal records. The following are 1^st and 2^nd place finishers:

1^st Place

4x8 Relay: Courtney Cleveland, Emma Griffiths, Clare O’Donnell, Kirsten Schultz

4x1 Relay: Taylor Topolski, Rebecca Sidler, Megan Abbott, Kait Eisenberg

2^nd Place

Congratulations to the Girls Track Team for winning the Lemont Indoor Invitational this past Saturday. This is the 2^nd year in a row that the girls have won this meet. The following are top placers from the meet. Great Job Girls!!!

1^st Place:

55 Dash – Kait Eisenberg

2011 Girls' Track Season

Congratulations to all the girls who competed down state!

State Qualifiers:

Mandy Coglianese 300m hurdles. Broke her own school record with a time of 44.6 and finished 7th in state.

Lindsay Smoljan – pole vault

Brooke Pappas, Kaitlyn Eisenberg, Catherine Foley, Mandy Coglianese – 4 x 400 relay (making second consecutive trip down state)

Congratulations to the Girls Track Team placing 3^rd on Saturday, May 7 at the Irish Relays hosted by Bishop Mac. The following are top place winners.

1^st Place:

4x8 Relay: Brittany Pirc, Clare O’Donnell, Megan Abbott, Courtney Cleveland

400M Shuttle Hurdle Relay: Taylor Topolski, Catherine Foley, Allison Kuhlmann, Mandy Coglianese (this group set a new meet record in this event)

2^nd Place:

Clare O’Donnell – 1600M Run

Allison Kuhlmann –Triple Jump & Long Jump (Allison jumped a PR of 15’10.5 in LJ)

Rachel Andrews – Discus

3^rd Place:

Congratulations to the Girls Track Team placing 4th on May 4 in a very exciting meet, in the East Suburban Catholic Conference. The Celtics performed exceptionally well setting several new PR’s and even breaking a school record.
