Pom Program Overview
Providence Catholic High School Pom/Dance is an
extracurricular activity offering a Varsity level team that includes
Freshmen through Senior students. Providence Catholic’s core Augustinian
values of truth, unity and love serve as the heart of our program. PCHS
Pom/Dance supports the mission and vision of Providence Catholic High
School not only through athletics, but through education and service.
The PCHS Pom/Dance Program provides an opportunity for students to
challenge themselves beyond education. Team members perform at all home
football and basketball games, various school events and compete in
competitions through TeamDance Illinois. They develop strong character
and make their Catholic faith an important part of their team experience
through team prayer and attending team masses. The value of teamwork and
good sportsmanship is emphasized throughout the entire season.
