Congratulations to senior Edwin Cooper, senior Mike Togher and
junior Eddie Klimara who competed at the IHSA State Wrestling
tournament, which took place on February 19 in Champaign.
Cooper took 1st place at 145 lbs. and set the state
record for pinning his opponent. Togher also took 1st place at 135
lbs. Klimara finished the season with a 41-1 record and took
2nd place at 125 lbs.
Congratulations to the Champion Varsity Wrestling team who took first
place and Ed Klimara who was named "Outstanding Wrestler" at the Geneseo Tournament
on January 15.
