Annual Mother’s Day Mass Warms Hearts

Father Merk says:

“Growing up in the Merkelis family, my mom sang to us.  We greeted the day with her beautiful voice when we woke up; she calmed us when we were afraid or distraught; we dropped off to sleep with a lullaby. There is something about singing that eases life’s pain and increases life’s joys.

At our annual Mother’s Day Mass, the student body serenaded their mothers and grandmothers with a beautiful rendition of “You Are So Beautiful.”  It was a profound gift and a perfect reflection of why we are a family—the Providence Family!

To all the moms:  A Blessed Mother’s Day!”
