Celtic Spotlight: Senior Augustine Guillermo

Senior Augustine Guillermo has turned his passion for storytelling into an impressive range of real-world experience in media production and photography.

From short films and commercial projects for schools and restaurants to professional shoots with MMA fighters, Augustine has already built a diverse portfolio. His photography experience is just as varied, including weddings, real estate, events, and more.

Augustine says he always knew he wanted to be involved in media creation, but one moment made that passion click. While at his brother-in-law’s birthday celebration, he picked up someone’s camera and began taking photos.

“I kept snapping and snapping photos without even fully knowing what the settings were, but I knew in that moment that I was meant to tell a story, whether it was through photos or videos.”

Since then, Augustine has continued to invest in his business, develop his skills, and take on new opportunities – all while pursuing something he truly loves.

His advice to others? “Chase your dreams, no matter how badly the odds are stacked against you.”
