Providence Catholic to Host Annual Cheerleading Clinic and Breakfast Food Drive

NEW LENOX (September 15, 2016) – Providence Catholic High School’s Cheerleading Program will host its Annual Cheer Clinic and Breakfast Food Drive for students in grades kindergarten through 8 on Monday, October 10 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Individuals and teams are welcome.  The cost is $40 per participant, which includes a PC cheerleading tee shirt and a pass to regular PCHS home athletic events for the 2016-17 season. Participants are asked to register in order to obtain accurate tee shirt sizes, but walk-ins are welcome.

The Varsity Cheerleading Celtics are the 2013 State Champions, 2016 State Runner-Up, five-time Sectional Champions, and five-time National Champions.  During the clinic, participants will have the opportunity to learn chants, cheers, motions, jumps, and stunt with the Celtic cheerleaders and coaches.   A light snack will be provided during the clinic, but participants are asked to bring their own water and a non-perishable breakfast item to donate to a local food pantry.  Parents are invited to watch their child perform a special routine at noon.
