Gavin Hagan Commits to Indiana State University for Football
NEW LENOX (December 4, 2024) – Mr. Doug Ternik, Athletic Director at Providence Catholic High School, shared the exciting news that football player Gavin Hagan will be advancing to compete at the collegiate level. “We are incredibly proud of this young athlete, who has demonstrated excellence not only in the classroom but also as a leader both academically and athletically. As he embarks on the next chapter of his life, we send our best wishes for continued success and look forward to following his achievements on and off the field,” said Ternik.
Senior Gavin Hagan of Lockport will continue his football career on scholarship at Indiana State University. Hagan, the son of Dan and Jill Hagan and a graduate of Homer Junior High, plans to major in Business. A standout athlete, Hagan has been a vital member of the Providence Catholic football team for all four years. His numerous accolades include being a three-time All-Conference honoree and earning All-State recognition during his senior year. Demonstrating exceptional versatility and leadership, he was named the Chicago Catholic League (CCL) Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and the CCL Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. “Providence has prepared me for everything that is to come,” says Hagan. “I would like to thank my family, friends, coaches, and trainers who have helped get to where I am today.”
