Providence Math Team Earns Top-10 Finish at State Competition
The Providence Catholic Math Team delivered an outstanding performance at the state competition, earning an impressive 9th-place overall finish among Illinois’ top teams. The team also extended its remarkable legacy this season by capturing its eighth consecutive Regional Championship in March, once again qualifying a full roster for the state competition and reinforcing its place among the area’s premier academic programs. Led by Math Team Coach Mrs. Jamie Walker, with assistance from math teacher Mr. Daniel Potempa, the team demonstrated exceptional dedication, depth, and competitive excellence throughout the season.
Demonstrating focus, determination, and teamwork from start to finish, the group represented Providence with pride and excellence throughout the competition.
