AYM is hosting a drive next week in conjunction with alumni Reed McCool, Class of 2016.  Reed is serving in Kewempe, Uganda, this school year helping impoverished children be educated and learn about God. Reed says, “To these kids, just being able to attend school is making their dreams possible.”

Reed’s passion for the Ugandan students was ignited during a missions trip in 2018 where he saw first hand, despite the tremendous need for basic supplies, the Ugandan students are joyful and love Jesus. Reed is going back to continue serving in Uganda for 3 more months in February, 2020. Reed shares, “The schools I work with are always needing any supplies they can get. Just the basics are so incredibly helpful.”

This is where he needs help from the Providence Catholic Community to come together and help give these children school supplies. Reed will personally be taking back the supplies we are able to provide straight to Uganda when he leaves at the end of January.

Reed is grateful for any help and adds “Thank you so much for helping me support these wonderful children!!”

The drive runs January 14-16, 2020.  Please drop off supplies in room 24.  Thank you in advance for your generosity!
