Seven PCHS Students have been selected to perform at ILMEA District 1 Festival

Seven Providence Catholic High School musicians have been selected to perform at the Illinois Music Educators Association (ILMEA) District 1 Festival November 17. Students from the choir and band underwent stringent auditions to qualify for the festival. Next month, based upon the results of their auditions, held on Oct. 2, these musicians may receive an invitation to the All-State Festival in Peoria, IL during the 2019 Illinois Music Educators Conference to be held January 24 through 26. ILMEA All-State is the most prestigious high school music festival in the state of Illinois, and one of the highest single honors a high school musician can achieve.

The following Providence Catholic High School Students will perform at the ILMEA District 1 Concert Festival on November 17:

District 1 Choir: Alyssa LaBine (Alto 1, Senior), Elise Persicketti (Alto 2, Senior)
