Trendel Named New Boys’ Varsity Head Basketball Coach

NEW LENOX (May 5, 2023) – Doug Ternik, Athletic Director at Providence Catholic High School, is pleased to welcome back Tim Trendel as the new PCHS Boys’ Head Varsity Basketball Coach.

“We are happy that Tim has accepted this position and we are confident that he will do very well. We wish him the best of luck,” offered Ternik.

Trendel graduated from Dominican University Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Liberal Arts. He continued on with his studies to receive a master’s degree in administration. He brings a wealth of experience to the Providence Catholic Basketball program as he has coached throughout his entire professional career. He is also currently an Assistant Dean, Assistant Freshman Baseball Coach and teaches psychology at Providence Catholic High School.
