A New Era Begins for Providence Wrestling

Providence Catholic is proud to announce the addition of Girls Wrestling beginning in the 2026-27 school year.

Under the leadership of Head Wrestling Coach Donny Reynolds, the new program will build upon one of the most successful wrestling traditions in Illinois. Providence Wrestling has earned 9 state championships, 21 sectional championships, and many regional titles throughout its storied history.

Now, that tradition continues with the launch of our girls program, creating new opportunities for female student-athletes to compete, grow, and represent Celtic Nation on the mat.

We are excited to welcome the first generation of Providence Catholic Girls Wrestlers and look forward to building a championship culture from day one.

The tradition is established. The future starts now.
