E-Learning Day on Thu. 2/3
Out of an abundance of caution for the morning commute, and because of additional snowfall forecasted overnight, Thursday, 2/3 will be an eLearning Day. We will follow the B (Late Start) bell schedule.
This is a school day and class attendance will be taken at the beginning of each period. Students are not required to attend a Teams meeting for scheduled study hall or lunch period. Parents, please report any absences to the Dean’s Office by calling (815) 717-3130. Do not report any absences to teachers.
E-Learning Procedures:
Teachers will start a Teams meeting prior to the beginning of class. Students should join the Teams call before or at the scheduled class time. Lunch breaks will take place during the student’s scheduled 6th period lunch time. Below are two links that are important for eLearning:
Tech Support:
Students who need assistance with laptops or Teams should send an email to techhelp@providencecatholic.org and then remain online so that the Tech Staff can reach you via email or Teams chat.
Friday Schedule:
We anticipate being back in school for in-person learning on Friday, February 4th and we will follow the C Schedule.
Athletics:
In-season athletes should check 8to18 for updates to practice and competition schedules.
