As the second semester gets under way, we are already preparing for the next school year! Beginning the week of Jan 29, students will be working with our counselors to select their courses for next year.

There are two resources for students and parents.  We encourage you to refer to them PRIOR to making and finalizing your course requests.

  1. 2024-25 Curriculum Guide which contains all information about required courses, honors placement, and much more.
  2. Presentation about course requests – with info about the new courses for 24-25 – found in Microsoft Teams here.

The Course Request process begins with presentations in English classes. The counselors explain the overall course request process and assist students in making their requests using the StudentPlus Portal.

Parent Action:

  • Once the selections are made, parents must login to ParentPlus portal to review and submit approval.
    1. Please be sure to do this via a laptop or desktop.  You will not be able to approve your student’s courses using a mobile device.  (See deadlines and tutorial below.)
    2. Only the primary parent will have access.  (More info about primary parent)

Dates & Deadlines:

Current Freshmen (Class of 2027)

  • Presentations will take place Jan. 30 & 31
  • Selections available for viewing in ParentPlus on Feb 2
  • Deadline for parents to review and submit course requests: Feb. 9

Current Sophomores (Class of 2026)

  • Presentations will take place Feb. 7 & 8
  • Selections available for viewing in ParentPlus on Feb. 9
  • Deadline for parents to review and submit course requests: Feb. 16

Current Juniors (class of 2025)

  • Presentations will take place Feb 14 & 15
  • Selections available for viewing in ParentPlus on Feb. 16
  • Deadline for parents to review and submit course requests: Feb. 23
