Society of our Mother of Good Counsel: $5,000 – $9,999
Our Mother of Good Counsel refers of course to Mary, Mother of God, but more particularly it references a 15th century fresco that resides in an Augustinian Church in Genazzano, Italy. With various legends of origin, and a shocking reveal after being painted over for many years, this image is now a pilgrimage site where even newly appointed Popes go to pray for wisdom.
