Two Seniors Awarded the Bishop Romeo Blanchette Award

Two seniors at Providence Catholic High School were awarded the Bishop Romeo Blanchette Award at graduation. This award was established in memory of Bishop Romeo Blanchette and all he did to help Providence prosper in the 1960s and 1970s. It recognizes a young man and young woman of the senior class who model in an exceptional way the message of Jesus Christ.

Augustinian Youth Ministry Inducts New Members

Rich Young, O.S.A., presided over the induction of 63 students and five student directors into the school’s Augustinian Youth Ministry organization on April 20 at Providence Catholic High School. “Truth, unity and love aren’t just happy words,” he said. “They are a way of life and the Augustinian Youth Ministry members are going to show us what that way is.”

Providence Catholic Art Students Recognized at University of St. Francis Competition

Fine Arts are an important aspect of academics at Providence Catholic High School, and five students recently participated in an art invitational held by the University of St. Francis. Students Ana Ullsmith, Maria Krumdrick, Eva Gabrisko, Samantha Dumstorf, and Alex Perkins all participated in the event. Ullsmith earned an Honorable Mention, and Eva Gabrisko earned an Award of Excellence.

Hockey Team Kennedy Cups Finals Tickets

The Varsity Hockey team defeated Benet on Friday night to advance to the Kennedy Cup Finals against St. Ignatius.  This is a best of three series with the first game played at St. Ignatius. 

Believe in the Basics Football Camp for 6th – 12th Grade

6th-12th graders are invited to join in this camp, focused on enhancing individual skills and techniques by working closely with current and former college and professional football players. Positions at this camp include offensive lineman and any tight ends wanting to workout as a lineman. Each lineman will rotate through a series of fundamentals and skills stations while receiving coaching from some of the best at the position in the country.
