Late December – Mid January: Results Posted

Placement Exam results will posted to the student’s Blackbaud account. Acceptance status and information regarding steps in the registration and scheduling process will be provided in a checklist on your online account.


Starting in Late December: Online Registration for Incoming Freshmen

Online registration must be completed in its entirety by Noon, Sunday, February 22, 2026
Instructions will be provided in your online account. As part of the online registration process, you will be required to upload a copy of your student’s certified, county birth certificate and make the $300 tuition deposit electronically.

Spring Jr. High Nights

Come cheer on the Celtics and experience the excitement for yourself! Future students are invited to join us and see Celtic pride in action.

Parents must register their students for a Jr. High Night prior to arrival.


Tuesday, January 20

Join us for our Future Celtic Drop-In – a casual event designed to help families navigate every step of the enrollment process. 4:00-6:30 PM – Drop-in anytime. This event is optional – no R SVP required!

In the Blanchette Learning Center (Enter door 1 at the front of school)

Our staff will be on hand to help you:

  • Understand Placement Exam Results
  • Set up your Online Parent Account (Blackbaud)
  • Use Blackbaud to complete the application requirements
  • Apply for financial aid
  • Learn about services in the Celtic Learning Center (IEP/504)

January – April 2026

Shadow Days – Prospective students are able to shadow a current PCHS student for the day.  Students are here for the entire day and get to participate in actual class time, meet with extracurricular moderators and coaches, meet faculty and staff and experience a day in the life of a Celtic!

If a student cannot attend on a Shadow Day, personal family tours are available throughout the year.

Dates:

  • January: 16, 23, 30
  • February: 6, 13, 27
  • March: 6, 13*, 17
  • April: 17, 24

Parents must register their students for a Shadow Day prior to arrival.

February 1, 2026: Financial Aid Applications Due

All financial aid applications are due to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment.

Kazma Family Foundation Scholarship is due to the Catholic Education Foundation. This is an outside scholarship that is administered by the CEF. You can find more information regarding the scholarship at www.cefjoliet.org.

February 23, 2026: Scheduling Night

Register online by February 23 to secure your class options for Scheduling Night. During this event, students and their families meet with counselors to review course options and placement, helping you plan for a successful year ahead.


April 2026: Proficiency Exams

April 12, 2026 at 10:00 AM
or April 15, 2026 at 4:00 PM

Proficiency Exams for Algebra, Spanish, and French. Students may select one testing date and complete one or more exams. Each exam is one hour in length. There is no fee to participate.

  • Spanish & French: No calculator needed
  • Algebra: Calculators permitted

April 17, 2026: Freshman Party

6:30 PM-8:30 PM

Kick off your high school journey and meet your future classmates before the school year begins! Enjoy snacks, games, music, and plenty of fun as you start building friendships that will last all four years. (Freshman Party-invitations will be emailed to registered students only.)


May 31, 2026: Dress Code Purchases Deadline

Don’t miss it! Online dress code purchases must be completed by May 31.


June 2026: Summer Studies Program

Parents and students will be notified in their scheduling packet if the Summer Studies course is recommended.


June 4, 2026: Freshmen Family BBQ

5:30 PM-7:30 PM

All incoming freshmen and their families are invited to join us for a fun evening of food and community! Meet your classmates and connect with other Celtic families before the school year begins. Invitations will be emailed to registered students only.
