Veritas Award Application

Veritas Award Application is available online! Applications are due December 1, 2023! The Providence Catholic Veritas Award is awarded to incoming freshmen who best embody the Mission of Providence Catholic High School and show the potential to emulate the Augustinian core values of Truth, Unity, and Love. Shadow Days

Shadow Days – Prospective students are able to shadow a current PCHS student for the day.  Students are here for the entire day and get to participate in actual class time, meet with extracurricular moderators and coaches, meet faculty and staff and experience a day in the life of a Celtic! This opportunity is open to 7th & 8th graders! If a student cannot attend on a Shadow Day, personal family tours are available throughout the year. Parents must register their student for a Shadow Day prior to arrival. Register online here. Once registered, you will receive an email the week of your student’s Shadow Day with more details. Drop off: 7:30-7:45am  |  Pick up: 2:15pm

Jr. High Nights- Invitation for prospective students to come out and see the Celtics in action!


 

January 8, 2024-February 25, 2024 – Registration Begins!

Online registration must be completed in its entirety by Noon, Sunday, February 25, 2024.
Instructions will be provided on the Admissions page of our website.

As part of the online registration process, you will be required to upload a copy of your student’s certified, county birth certificate and make the $300 tuition deposit electronically.


February 1, 2024 – FACTS Financial Aid applications due!

All Class of 2028 financial aid applications are due to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment.


February 20, 2024 – Financial Aid notifications sent 

Financial Aid Award and PCHS Scholarship Award notifications are mailed out.


February 26, 2024 – Information and Scheduling Night

2 sessions: 4:00pm & 6:00pm

All REGISTERED incoming freshmen families are welcome to attend.  There will be a brief presentation and you will be able to discuss your class schedule with a counselor.


March 1, 2024 – Kazma Family Foundation Scholarship Applications due.

March 13, 2024 – Summer Work Program applications due.

Summer Work Program applications are due.


March 22, 2024 – Incoming Freshmen Party

6:30 PM-8:30 PM

Freshman Party-invitations will be emailed to registered students only.


Proficiency Exams

Saturday, April 20 @ 10 a.m., BLC or Tuesday, April 23 @ 4 p.m., BLC

  • Proficiency Exams for Algebra, Spanish, French
  • Choose one date to take one or more exams
  • Each proficiency exam will last 1 hour
  • There is no cost to take proficiency exams
  • Calculators are allowed for the Algebra exam

May 31, 2024 – Deadline to purchase polos.

June 10, 2024-June 28, 2024 – Summer Studies Program 

Summer Studies Program

Parents and students will be notified in their scheduling packet if the Summer Studies course is recommended.


June 6, 2024 – Incoming Freshmen Family Picnic

Freshman Family BBQ-invitations will be emailed to registered students only                      


August 12, 2024 – Fall Sports Tryout
