The Providence Catholic Veritas Award

The Providence Catholic Veritas Award is awarded to incoming freshmen who best embody the Mission of Providence Catholic High School and show the potential to emulate the Augustinian core values of Truth, Unity, and Love.

The applicant must have demonstrated a commitment to leadership, talent, and service. The award will be presented to scholars who will positively contribute to the Providence community.

Applicants must fill out the Providence Catholic Veritas Award application below.

Applications will be reviewed throughout the application process and applicants will be notified upon application review of their award status.

All recipients of the Providence Catholic Veritas Award will be eligible for the Providence Catholic Veritas Scholarship. Students must apply and receive the Providence Catholic Veritas Award as well as take the Providence Placement Exam on Saturday, December 7, 2024, to qualify.

Providence Veritas Award Timeline

  • August 1, 2024—Application available below! Once an application is submitted, a review of the application will take place. Upon review, applicants will be informed of their award status.
  • Application closes Friday, December 6 at 11:59 p.m.!
    As stated, throughout the application process, all applications will be reviewed by the award committee.

Providence Catholic Veritas Award Application 2024

  • List of any community service completed, leadership positions held, or extracurricular activities involved with during your junior high career. *
  • List of academic successes, highlights, awards, etc. accomplished throughout your junior high educational career. Report Card from 7th grade courses *
  • Please upload report card from your 7th grade courses.
  • Upload one (1) letter of recommendation from an adult (not a parent) that can attest to the student's leadership and service. (1-page, typed)
  • Personal Statement to Providence Veritas Committee: Why do you feel you are a strong candidate to be a recipient of the Providence Veritas Award? How will you exhibit leadership, character, and service at Providence Catholic High School? * (1-page maximum, double spaced, typed)
