September 2026 – December 2026

Shadow Days – Prospective students are able to shadow a current PCHS student for the day.  Students are here for the entire day and get to participate in actual class time, meet with extracurricular moderators and coaches, meet faculty and staff and experience a day in the life of a Celtic!

If a student cannot attend on a Shadow Day, personal family tours are available throughout the year.

Shadow Days

  • September: 11, 18, 22
  • October: 2*, 9, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
  • November: 3, 6,10, 13, 17, 20
  • December:  4, 11
  • September 11 = Homecoming Assembly
  • *October 2 = Super Celtic Shadow Day / Harvest Drive Olympics – 8th graders ONLY

Parents must register their students for a Shadow Day prior to arrival.


Jr. High Nights

Experience the Excitement. Become Part of the Tradition. There’s nothing quite like a game day at Providence Catholic.

Our Junior High Nights give students and their families the chance to experience the energy, school spirit, and welcoming community that make Providence Catholic unique. Meet our students and coaches, enjoy special activities and recognition, and cheer on the Celtics in an exciting varsity competition.

  • Football, Band, Cheer, and Dance: October 9 v. Marian Catholic
  • Girls Volleyball: September 15 vs. St. Viator

Parents must register their students for a Jr. High Night prior to arrival here.


Open House

November 15, 2026

Join us at our Open House to tour our beautiful campus, meet our outstanding faculty, coaches, and students, explore our academic, athletic, arts, and extracurricular opportunities, and learn what it means to be part of a community rooted in Truth, Unity, and Love.

Mini Open House

December 1, 2026 – 6:30 PM

If you aren’t able to make the Sunday Open House, check out our Mini Open House! This event offers prospective students and their families the opportunity to tour campus, meet members of our admissions team, learn about our academic programs, student life, athletics, and activities, and have all of your questions answered in a relaxed setting. Discover why Providence Catholic is a place where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to grow in Truth, Unity, and Love. Registration coming soon.


Veritas Award Application Due

December 4, 2026
Fill out this form online.

The deadline to submit your Veritas Award application is quickly approaching! This prestigious scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, service, and a commitment to living out the values of Providence Catholic.


Placement Exam

December 5, 2026            8:00 AM-11:30 AM

Pre-registration is required- Completed Student Information Form (located on the Placement Exam page of our website)

Arrival between 7:30-7:45 AM

$25 Test Fee-cash or check made out to PCHS

Students will receive a packet of material for their parent(s)/guardian(s) regarding financial aid and scholarships available at PCHS.

Make-Up Placement Exam

Make-up Placement Exams for those students who did not test at another Catholic High School.

Placement Exam Results Posted

Late December – Mid January
Placement Exam results will be posted to the student’s Blackbaud account. Acceptance status and information regarding steps in the registration and scheduling process will be provided in a checklist on your online account.


Online Registration

Starting in Late December, online registration must be completed in its entirety by Noon, Sunday, February 21, 2027
Instructions will be provided in your online account. As part of the online registration process, you will be required to upload a copy of your student’s certified, county birth certificate and make the $300 tuition deposit electronically.

All financial aid applications are due to FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment.

Scheduling Night

February 22, 2027
Register online prior by February 22, to ensure your class options for scheduling night.  Scheduling Night allows students and their families to meet with counselors to discuss class options and placement.


Proficiency Exams for Algebra, Spanish, French

April 12, 2027 at 10:00 AM or April 15, 2027 at 4:00 PM

Choose one date to take one or more exams. Each proficiency exam will last 1 hour. There is no cost to take proficiency exams. Calculators are allowed for the Algebra exam.


Freshman Party

March 19, 2027
