Lunch Account Balances

Please be sure that seniors’ lunch accounts are paid in full prior to Monday 5/13 when caps & gowns are scheduled to be distributed. If a student’s account is not paid in full, he/she will not receive the cap & gown at that time. To check your balance, login to PaySchoolsCentral. Students can also ask a cashier on exam days only for a balance.

If your student has a credit balance:

  • Any credit balance over $10 will be mailed to parents in June.
  • Any credit balance under $10 must be picked up by the students during exam days. Students should see a cashier on exam days only.

Caps & Gowns

Graduation caps & gowns will be distributed Monday, 5/13/19 during Period 4 lunches. Please be sure your student account balance and your lunch balance (see below) is paid in full to ensure your student will receive the cap & gown that day. (Make-up date TBA.)

Seniors were measured for caps and gowns in January. The cost for the cap, gown, and tassel was included in your tuition fees.

4-9-19: Important Reminders from your Counseling Department

  • The deadline for the PCHS scholarships is Monday, April 15.
These (10) scholarships are guaranteed to our seniors. Criteria and applications may be found on Naviance Family Connection under the “Colleges” tab, and then in the “Scholarship List.” Look for (PCHS) after the name of the scholarship. NOTE: If a student and/or parent letter is required, you may reuse the same letter for any PCHS scholarship.
  • All scholarship awards letters must be returned to your counselor or Mrs. Brassil by Wednesday, May 1.
We ask that you notify us of every scholarship that you are offered even if you are not sure if you will be accepting them. These letters are used for tracking purposes and for verification for the Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation programs. Due to our printing deadline, all documentation must be received by May 1. Note: Only accepted scholarships will be listed in these programs.
  • Mr. Murphy and Mr. Palmasani will be visiting senior English classes on Friday, May 10 for a Transition to College presentation.
The purpose of their visit will be to share information about typical concerns that graduates have about their first year of college. They also want to be sure final arrangements will be made by each senior with the school that they will be attending next year.
  • Graduation Practice – Thursday, May 16
Seniors are asked to bring a t-shirt or sweatshirt from their attending college on Thursday, May 16. Students should be in dress code and will wear their college shirt over their polo. There will be a group picture taken of the entire class at the Rialto and smaller group pictures taken at the senior breakfast of students who are attending the same college (i.e. all Marquette students, all Loyola students, etc.) These pictures will be used for social media and various other marketing purposes.
  • Final Transcripts
Final Transcripts Final transcripts will not be available until after June 10, 2019. Mr. Murphy and Mr. Palmasani will send your final transcript to your attending college (and NCAA or NAIA if applicable) in mid June. Transcripts will be sent electronically via Naviance in most cases. If you are contacted by your attending college that your transcripts hasn’t been received, please be assured that your college will receive the final transcript by July 1.
